Terracotta Tile Roof Restoration

Roofline not only reseals cement tiles we also restore terracotta roof tiles. The process is slightly different from the cement tile restoration outlined by this job undertaken at Pymble.

Stage 1.

After the broken and damaged tiles are replaced and high strength bio degradable sterilizer is applied to the roof tiles using a watering can.

Stage 1

Stage 2.

This immediately takes effect causing the moss and lichen to loosen turning black. By penetrating the tile surface it kills any spores that may live within and greatly hinders any regrowth.

Stage 2

Stage 3.

The tiles are then high pressure cleaned bringing then back to their original condition.

Stage 3

Stage 4.

You can clearly see the transformation taking place.

Stage 4

Stage 5.

The ridgecaps are rebedded where necessary and fully repointed using a flexible pointing compound.

Stage 5

Stage 6.

With the necessary repairs undertaken the old terracotta tiles are restored back to their original condition giving them a new lease of life.
