Stage 2.

First we have to remove to all tiles around the valley to enable us to remove the rusted valley iron. The tiles are carefully stacked in order to enable the reassemble to go smoothly.

Any damage or broken tiles will also be replaced or re-cut.

Stage 3.

We then remove the old nails holding the valley in place. We then dispose of the old rusty valley and install a new colorbond valley iron. Any damaged timberwork identified would also be repaired at this stage.

Stage 4.

The valley colour matched colorbond valley is measured, cut and re-nailed into position. The plastic protective film would also be removed just prior to the reinstallation of the roof tiles.

Stage 5.

The final process is to refit all of the roof tiles back into position, care is taken to repostion them back in the correct order to ensure that the roof remains weather proof. Valley replacements like these and all other types of roof repairs are undertaken regularly by Roofline throughout Sydney.
